I am a Native Atlantan and is a product of the Atlanta Public School System. I am a graduate of Morris Brown College where I majored in Music Education.
While attending Morris Brown I was a member of the school's Symphonic, Jazz and Marching Bands. I graduated from Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education.
I began working on my Masters Degree in Education at Cambridge College, graduating in 2000. In an effort to broaden my leadership skills I pursued and received my Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. My extensive education lead to a rewarding career lasting 34 years.
I have served as Director of Bands for 23 years at Columbia High School. During my tenure at Columbia High School, I also served as Acting Principal in charge of Attendance.
I am currently the Strings Director for the Southwest Dekalb feeder program which includes Wadsworth Magnet School For High Achivers, and Dekalb Elementary School of the Art's.
My most recent accomplishment is becoming Director Of Bands for Morris Brown College. My beloved Alama Mater.
